Hello,
I’m Amanda.
—physical therapist, athletic trainer, mom of three, DPT educator and the voice behind the Everyday Ergonomics for Working Moms podcast. I help working moms feel better in the body they mother in, so they can keep doing all the things they love without pain.
I’ve always been passionate about problem-solving real-life movement challenges. From my early days as an undergraduate studying athletic training to my research year focused on interdisciplinary telehealth services, I’ve been drawn to figuring out how to make the body work better in everyday life.
I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and have spent the last six years practicing in outpatient orthopedics. I’ve had the privilege of working people across the lifespan — from newborns with torticollis, toddlers navigating toe walking, young athletes, new moms, middle-aged adults, and seniors. My focus has always been helping high-functioning individuals, especially moms, keep doing the things they love— pain-free. I always say: my goal is to keep you doing what you want t do for as long as possible.
In addition to my clinical work, I now teach in a DPT program, sharing my experience and passion for movement with the next generation of physical therapists.
This love for movement, problem-solving, and practical solutions inspired my podcast, Everyday Ergonomics for Working Moms, which I’ve hosted for over a year. Through it, I share strategies to help moms move through their daily routines with more ease and less strain.
Coaching is now my primary focus, guiding moms to find ergonomic solutions that fit their real lives. In some cases, coaching my not be the only need. In those cases, I can refer to appropriate providers or provide clinical physical therapy. I offer virtual coaching, telehealth physical therapy and local in person physical therapy on a cash-based model.
